For additional information, contact Peggy Brewer, 423-312-8325 or Jennifer Gentry at 423-586-0260. Arts In The Park grew out of a partnership formed between the Morristown Art Association and the Morristown Parks and Recreation Department during the Recreation and Arts Roundtables in the ongoing Positive Youth Development Campaign by the Hamblen County P-16 Council. The goal was to make this an event for the Hamblen County area to showcase Morristown Art Association artists’ work and the new park. Rose Center and the Council for the Arts is also a sponsor of Arts In The Park. The first Arts In The Park event was held in September 2007.
